In no particular order.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Middle Row Primary School will become an academy in Sep 2013.

Havering Council will reward residents for doing the right thing. If caught picking up dog poop or properly using rubbish bins, everyday heroes could be asked to “provide their details for a chance to win £50 worth of vouchers or a treat-filled hamper” from Asda.

Houslow Council will allow its partner Hounslow Highways to “clamp down on flytippers, graffiti vandals and litter louts.” As part of its £800 million joint venture with Vinci Concessions and Ringway, the new council policy will “involve prosecutions” for more serious offenses like flytipping and on-the-spot fines for “litter louts.”
