Dubbed Eagle House, this skeleton was approved in 2007 and construction of the 27 storey tall residential tower got underway. Then the financial crisis hit. Construction stalled.

Purchased by Mount Anvil in October 2012, construction is set to resume in summer 2013. The building, which was designed by Terry Farrell and Partners, will include 276 residences, 70 of them will be “affordable.” Mount Anvil has rehired the Farrell firm to complete the job. The building is currently slated for a 2015 completion.
