Church of the Most Holy Trinity with St Mary, Hackney
Built in 1848 by architect William Railton, who also designed Nelson’s Column. Also known as Holy Trinity Hoxton. Forward in Faith parish. Forward in Faith is “a worldwide association of Anglicans who are unable in conscience to accept the ordination of women as priests or as bishops.”

Alexandra Trust Dining Rooms, City Road
Built in 1898 by tea magnate and philanthropist Sir Thomas Lipton, the Alexandra Trust Dining Rooms provided cheap meals to the Old Street area’s working class and poor. The building, which appears to be in partial use, is now being scaffolded.
